Security and protection of your personal data
We keep the confidentiality of the data you provide and apply modern security standards to safeguard it against unauthorized access. We comply with the GDPR and the BDSG and the relevant provisions of the German TTDSG. We implement technical and organizational measures and require the same from service providers.

Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person including identifiers such as name, ID number, location data, online identifier or elements specific to identity.
Any operation performed on personal data such as collection, storage, use, disclosure, alignment, restriction, deletion or destruction.
Flagging of stored personal data to limit future processing.

The controller decides purposes and means of processing. The processor handles data on behalf of the controller.
A recipient is any entity to which data is disclosed. A third party is anyone other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons under their direct authority.
Freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by statement or clear affirmative action.
Lawfulness of processing
Processing is lawful when at least one legal basis applies according to Article 6 item 1 letters a to f of the GDPR.
- Consent for one or more specific purposes.
- Performance of a contract or steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
- Compliance with a legal obligation.
- Protection of vital interests.
- Task carried out in the public interest or under official authority.
- Legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party unless overridden by interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject especially if a child is concerned.
Information about collection of personal data
If you contact us by email, telephone or through a contact form, we store the information you provide to answer your query and for possible follow up questions. The legal basis is Article 6 item 1 letter b of the GDPR where the request relates to a contract or pre contractual measures and Article 6 item 1 letter f for other requests based on our legitimate interest in effective communication. We delete this data when storage is no longer necessary or restrict processing if legal retention applies.

When you use the website for information only, we collect the following technical data to display the site and ensure stability and security with legal basis Article 6 item 1 sentence 1 letter f of the GDPR.

Log files are deleted or anonymised as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes mentioned above.
Use of cookies
We use cookies to make the service more user friendly and effective. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary to operate the website. Other cookies are used for reach measurement and statistical analysis, for example when we use Google Analytics as described below.
Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Section 25 paragraph 2 of the German TTDSG and Article 6 item 1 letter f of the GDPR. Analytics cookies and comparable technologies are only used with your consent according to Section 25 paragraph 1 of the TTDSG and Article 6 item 1 letter a of the GDPR, which you can grant or refuse in the cookie banner.

Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, when you have granted consent in the cookie banner. Google Analytics uses cookies that allow an analysis of the use of our website. The information generated about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation. This means that your IP address is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google according to Google.
The use of Google Analytics takes place on the basis of your consent, Article 6 item 1 letter a of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 paragraph 1 of the TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by changing your selection in the cookie banner or by deleting the corresponding cookies.
You can also prevent the storage of cookies through an appropriate setting in your browser software and you can object to the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by installing the browser plug in provided by Google.
Other functions and offers
We may provide services that require additional personal data, for example when you request a quotation, enter into a maintenance contract, register for newsletters or contact us through social media channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook. We select and instruct service providers carefully and monitor compliance. We may share data with partners for campaigns, competitions and contracts where this is necessary. If providers or partners are located outside the EEA we inform you about the implications in the specific offer and ensure an adequate level of data protection.
Children
Our services are directed to adults. Persons under 18 should not provide personal data without consent of a parent or guardian.
Rights of the data subject
You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing based on consent before withdrawal.
You can request confirmation and access to personal data including purposes, categories, recipients, storage period or criteria, rights to rectification and erasure, complaint to a supervisory authority, data source and automated decision making details.
You can request immediate rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data.
You can request deletion when legal conditions apply. Exceptions include freedom of expression and information, legal obligations, public interest in public health, archiving in the public interest or legal claims.
Possible when accuracy is contested, processing is unlawful and deletion is refused, data are needed for legal claims or pending objection assessment.
You can receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
You can object at any time for reasons relating to your situation to processing based on Article 6 item 1 letters e or f. For direct marketing you may object at any time.
You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing including profiling except in specific situations with safeguards.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and seek an effective judicial remedy if you consider that your rights have been infringed.
Use of social media links
We use links to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These are simple links. When you click you are redirected and your IP address is sent to the provider. If you are logged in, additional data may be collected by the provider under its own responsibility as controller. For details, please see the privacy notices of the respective platforms.
